| News NBN announces the 2006 Annual Neighborhood Awards Luncheon Neighbors for Better Neighborhoods is now accepting nominations for our Annual Neighborhood Awards Program. This is our opportunity to highlight community-based organizations that are working hard to promote and build vibrant neighborhoods in Winston-Salem Forsyth County. Nominations are due by Friday, April 22, 2006 and the Awards Luncheon is to be held May 5, 2006. Click here to download a copy of the application. NBN launches new website As we continue to grow and expand our services to the community we have launched a website that allows our partners, community leaders, and interested parties on-demand access to NBN! You may now access forms online, submit questions to the NBN staff, and much more! NBN relocates office As of December 1, 2005, NBN has moved from its downtown location and currently shares office space with Southside Community Development Corporation. NBN is excited to be in the space and sends a special thanks to all the community members that have stopped by and welcomed us to the Neighborhood. NBN hires office manager When you call NBN you will hear the voice of our new Office Manager Herbert "Ishmael" Ricks. The board and staff are overjoyed to have someone with Ishmael's expertise and "hands-on" experience join our team. With this addition NBN will be able to work even harder for all the neighborhoods we support. |
